Award Winning Live Streaming Event: Fortune 500 Client

The media production team, led by Reese Harris, V.P Strategy at ree-source, inc., produced a video live streaming event for the PSG/Wilden pumps new product launch. This was a first for the PSG division of Dover Corporation (DOV: NYSE) and ultimately exceeded the goals of a high quality ‘live’ presentation to specific industry media channels, allowing for a significant reduction of marketing cost.

At the core of the studio simulated ‘on-factory-site’ production was a NewTek Tricaster 330 switch which integrated three HD video cameras, 4 people on mic, 5 three minute video files played at various times throughout the presentation, plus two PowerPoint presentations were choreographed into the 90 minute live event. The live stream fed through services at a remarkable 1280 X 720 resolution. Nearly 200 participants logged in from many countries around the world.

It should be noted, the ree-source, inc. team nearly had a total production failure when moments before the event was to ‘go-live’ when a welder in the next room began an arc-welding project and all power to the production was lost. Miraculously, a back-up scenario was executed and the event was started without any more glitches. It just proves that Doctor Murphy is very present in complex event productions.
