AiSA (Archi’s Institute for Sustainable Agriculture) is an extension school for Cal Poly University in Pomona, CA. Archi’s Acres, a California Benefit Corporation, is a sister organization and a farming enterprise that utilizes hydro-organic technology to grow certified organic produce.
The challenge: Early in 2016 the Archi’s Acres Farm and their agriculture training program (Veterans Sustainable Agriculture Training VSAT) was forced by the DOD Department of Veterans Affairs to remove the word “Veterans” from the school name. Ree-Source was engaged to conceptualize and develop a new name, brand identity and full range of promotional collateral including banners and large signs, a new website and website enrollment forms, a new CRM system, many promotional videos, and a mass communication system.
The process: The development of all marketing and sales production elements took just over 4 months, and was fully implemented. Design and development required the coordination and approval of the Department of Defense and Cal Poly Pomona.
The result: In addition to the design and implementation of all marketing elements, website, email system, and CRM, Reese volunteered as a marketing instructor and taught a popular 4 hour marketing class to the students each month. This continues to date. Reese enrolled into the AiSA the 6-week course and received the Leadership Award.
